The DVD is aimed at those new or struggling with Bodypaint.

The 16 hour DVD starts off explaining what UV’s are and how Bodypaint works. Next is a 64 minute Fun with Bodypaint abstract tutorial that introducs many of the basic tools and commands within Bodypaint. Following on are more in depth tutorials and explanations of virtually every tool and command with the program. Several mini UV mapping projects follow. See the sample of the entire Chapter 1 video for more details.

All throughout the videos, 3DKiwi troubleshoots common problems. The DVD contains an extended project of almost 10 hours UV mapping and painting a MkV Spitfire that is supplied and modelled by 3DKiwi. This project has been recorded virtually live and unrehearsed. You’ll see a real world project from start to finish. Therefore you will see 3DKiwi make a few mistakes and have to problem solve as he goes along. Those who prefer structured training videos may not like this approach.

Included are the new Bodypaint 2.5 features although most were included in the module version for rel 9 that the DVD was recorded in. The DVD is made from the perspective of a Cinema 4D user but those using other applications should still benefit from the tutorials. And if that’s not enough a model of a Me109f by John Logan is included. Unmapped & unpainted. Since the DVD is a massive 16 hours long plus some additional mini tutorials, 2 comprehensive pdf indexes have been included.
